The Starry Paths and the unique landscapes that surround them can be described in a variety of ways, including, in particular, sustainable and ecological way.

Meditative pilgrimages on the Way of the Stars

The meditative pilgrimages on a section of the European paths of the St. James pilgrims in the Bliesgau biosphere reserve are integrated into the special mood of the four seasons and are understood as explorations of sustainability. The mission of a UNESCO biosphere reserve and the questions about the sources of inner strength and the good life become a thematic companion in a poetic way on the way. Start is the Cultural site Wintringer Chapel at the Wintringer farm.

After an introduction, the “Stars Trail/Chemin des étoiles”, past the “Stars Field” and a sunken garden to the stage destination of the Pilgrim hostel “Old farmhouse in Auersmacher. There, coffee and homemade cake will be served and after a pause in the village church, the approx. 15 kilometer hike with inclines leads back to the medieval Wintringer Chapel.

Please note: The pilgrimage hike is moderately difficult and requires a good physical condition!

Please bring backpack food according to your own needs and, if necessary, rainwear and good shoes.
